Let the Rest of the World Go BySmith sat at her desk, contemplating a stack of annoyingly incomplete pieces of myths and prophecies. Her most recent assignment involved a set of prophecies originally put forth about a thousand years ago by a mysterious, reclusive nun from the Diset Peninsula. Her texts had long been dismissed for the incoherence of their prophetic messages, as well as the odd habit the nun had of inserting protracted commentary on the influence of political trends on her flower garden. However, history had proven that many of her prophecies made up for their lack of clarity with surprising accuracy, much to the frustration of the scholars who now had renewed reason to dig through things like her twenty page lecture on the effects of recent tariffs on her bed of petunias in the hopes of finding a few valuable kernels of insight into future events. Smith's current assignment was to take a more recent set of prophecies which had been sputtered out in a malfunctioning android's last moments and atteLet the Rest of the World Go By by BagnaTheSupervillain

Instead, Reinald followed James' example and pointed his gun as well. "I'm afraid I don't have much reason to oppose James in this matter. You tried to possess my partner without her consent. By your own admission, your current host is also unwilling."
"I think we should calm down and talk about this," Lia said, reaching for her page.
"We're all very calm," Anna said. "But I'm not going to stand up for someone who tried to possess me. I'm starting to take all these invasions into my mind personally." Anna pulled her own gun out of the whitezone and pointed it at Hazel.
Hazel spoke. "I don't like possessing people against their will, but the Book is more important than any of this. If we don't work together, everything could be
TBOS Round 4.6James, Reinald, and Anna were all lying on the floor, motionless. James' sunglasses had fallen off, revealing that his eyes were now an inky black. As Lia and Hazel watched, Reinald and Anna's eyes also changed to black. Lia turned to Hazel. "Can you bring these three back?"TBOS Round 4.6 by BagnaTheSupervillain
Hazel nervously clutched the necklace. "There's something I haven't said. I was willing to risk helping one person, but there's a monster in this body that I'm not going to risk letting out. I don't know if I can help three people and still keep control." Hazel's borrowed body appeared calm from the outside, but Lia could easily tell that Hazel was terrified of the potential consequences of letting her guard slip and allowing the other mind in her head to take over.
Lia could see that attempting to convince Hazel to risk losing control would be pointless. "Is there any other way we can get these three free of Antagonist's influe
TBOS Round 4.5Anna found herself in a pitch-black area that was quickly becoming annoyingly familiar. She found that this time she could at least move her arms and legs, which was an improvement over the previous time she'd been locked in her own head. "All right you asshole, let's get this over with. Apparently I'm just the perfect host for all sorts of wandering archetypes. I've been thinking I should start a zoo in my head."TBOS Round 4.5 by BagnaTheSupervillain
There was no reply. Anna wandered around and discovered that the pitch black area was now surrounded by walls. As she wandered, a tiny amount of light seemed to permeate the area. However, she still couldn't adjust to it well enough to see any meaningful distance. "This place is a bit homelier than it was last time I visited," she said to nobody in particular. She reached out and touched the walls and found that they were covered in a strange liquid that seemed to ooze out of th
